This trip was not only designed to treat patients but to train doctors and nurses in prolotherapy. Davao City was the first location visited. The hotel for the group was located right on the ocean.
The first hospital visited was Davao Doctor's Hospital. The group was greeted like stars. Banners were everywhere welcoming the group. Wood stations were built with private stations set up for the nurses and the doctors. The doctors gave their lectures in the main auditorium.
The second hospital was Brokenshire Hospital. The succinctly named H2P3 group (Hackett Hemwall Philippines Prolotherapy Project) quickly adapted to having to use a classroom which was not the original location planned for use. The helpers erected the makeshift rooms with sheets and wood supports and the treatments were underway.
At night lectures were given to a very enthusiastic group of doctors.
Then off to Davao Medical Center, a large county hospital. This time the group was permitted to use the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center equipped with private rooms.
At night the group was entertained with singing, dancing, a fashion show and feasts of food. The group was treated like dignitaries frequently finding themselves on the local television news or in the newspaper. Often on the front page.
Finally, the group left Davao Center and went to Samal Island. After a brief fun boat trip consisting of snorkeling, scuba diving and a beach picnic lunch the H2P3 group embarked to Samal Island. With a more rustic hut location the group enjoyed evening swims in the ocean. The final lectures to the local doctors and nurses. The rooms were set up and then the patients were treated.

In the final tally, several doctors and almost 20 nurses were trained in prolotherapy. 680 patients including the local mayors received prolotherapy for various musculoskeletal conditions. 40 patients were treated with schlerotherapy for vein condition. A DVD was also created called "The Perfect Mission".
